Steel Building in Homer, Michigan

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel industrial building for use as a flour mill in Homer, Michigan. The entrepreneurial owner of this Nucor-brand building chose to purchase this structure from Metal Building Outlet to stay in compliance with building codes.

The owner erected the new flour mill which measured 35’x40’x12’ and had a roof pitch of 1:12 independently. The sagebrush tan structure has a galvalume roof. The rear end wall has a 10’x10’ door also included is 3070 store front door. A 3’x’7’ window was field located in the building instead of the frame opening being designed with the building.  Field locating doors and windows is a common practice because the owners do not always know exactly where they want them placed ahead-of-time.

The building has R-19 roof insulation and R-13 wall insulation. The flour mill is located 102 miles outside of Detroit and 110 miles away from Grand Rapids in rural Michigan.

Steel Building in Gilman City, Missouri

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel building for a customer in Gilman City, Missouri, in late January of 2015.

Crafted using components from Garco Building Systems, the tan-colored building is now used as a shop. It features a corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 2:12 pitch, as well as a total of (9) framed openings of varying sizes. These include (6) 3030 windows to maximize natural sunlight, (1) 16’x18’ opening, (1) 10’x12’ opening and (1) 3070 walk door.

In consideration of the usual precipitation patterns and occasional tornado activity seen in the Gilman City area, a wind speed of 115 mph and a ground snow load of 20 lbs. were included at the time of construction.

While small in size, Gilman City is a part of both Daviess and Harrison Counties in northern Missouri. It sits about 91 miles outside Kansas City and 75 miles from St. Joseph.

Metal Building Outlet provided this pre-constructed metal building in Byhalia, Mississippi, in late February of 2017.

Durable and long-lasting with an aesthetically pleasing exterior, the building stands 40’x50’x12’ in size. Inside, the steel building features (3) framed openings, which include (1) 10’x10’ opening enclosing (1) 10’x10’ garage door and (2) 3070 openings, each of which encloses one of (2) 3070 walk doors. Additional project features include a snow load of 10 lbs. and a wind speed rating of 115 mph, inclusions made in consideration of the climate and weather patterns common through the Byhalia area. A small town set within north-central Mississippi’s Marshall County, Byhalia is situated not far from the towns and communities of Holly Springs, Potts Camp and Mount Pleasant.

Metal Building Outlet provided this pre-engineered steel building in Schlater, Mississippi.

Crafted using premium-grade steel components, the hardwearing, large-scale metal building is tan in color, and it now serves as an arena. It boasts a finished size of 120’x240’x16’ once fully erect, and its heavy-duty roof is made of long-lasting, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal and has a 1:12 pitch.

Inside, the arena features (4) framed openings, which include (2) 3070 openings designed for user entry and access and an additional (2) 12’x14’ openings. A snow load of 5 lbs. and a wind speed rating of 115 mph serve as supplementary features with respect for the weather and climate patterns common throughout Schlater and the surrounding region. Metal Building Outlet sourced this prefabricated metal building for a client in Gainesville, Missouri, in late January of 2018.

Versatile, functional and energy efficient, the building now serves as a shop, and it offers a finished size of 40’x100’x14’. It features top-of-the-line steel construction, while a corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 2:12 pitch provides considerable protection from above.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this metal building in Sumrall, Mississippi in March, 2014.  The owner of this building uses it for personal use as a shop and reports a very high level of satisfaction in ownership.  Located about 80 miles from Jackson and about 20 miles from Hattiesburg. The building is made from high quality SteelMax components.

With light stone colored exterior walls and a galvalume roof, this personal shop is attractive, durable and functional. The completed size of the shop is 60’x80’x16’ and the roof has a 1:12 pitch. Flooding the interior with natural light are 17 skylights. To enter the building, one of four doors may be used.  There are 3 overhead doors (2)  10’x10’ and (1) 12’x10’) and one 3’x7’ walk door.

To accommodate for the known high winds in Lamar County in Southern Mississippi, this building is rated to sustain wind speeds of 107 MPH and has a minimal 5 PSF ground snow load.
