Metal Building Outlet secured this pre-engineered metal building for a client in Milaca, Minnesota.

Rugged, hardwearing and highly energy efficient, the building stands strong in the face of heavy snowfall, extreme temperatures and other environmental hazards associated with life in Minnesota. Comprised of premium-quality steel components, it stands 50’x100’x18’ in size, while its Ash Gray exterior offers considerable curb appeal.

The building now functions as a shop, and it features an open, clear-span design suitable for working and storing goods. Overhead, a corrosion-resistant roof comprised of Galvalume metal panels guards against the Minnesota elements and offers a 2:12 pitch, and (19) framed openings serve as additional features. Included are (4) 10’x14’ framed openings enclosing (4) 10’x14’ doors, (4) 3070 walk door openings equipped with (4) 3070 walk doors, (1) 6070 opening harboring (1) 6070 door, and (10) 4030 windows that allow plenty of natural sunlight to penetrate the space.

The metal workshop also features R-30 in its roof and R-25 insulation within its walls, which keeps energy bills low while allowing building users to stay comfortable, regardless of season. Now functioning as a shop, the durable, low-maintenance metal building is designed with supreme energy efficiency in mind. Crafted from rugged, hardwearing steel components, the building stands 50’x100’x16’ and is covered overhead and protected by a corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 4:12 roof pitch. Inside it are (3) framed openings, which include (2) 24’x17’ openings and (1) that houses a 3070 walk door for user access.

Installed in the roof of the building is high-performance, high R-value R-35 building insulation, and installed within the walls is R-19 insulation. In addition to keeping interior temperatures consistent despite Minnesota’s long, sometimes bitterly cold winters, the insulation considerably reduces energy costs while enhancing noise control at the same time. In addition to the insulation package, this building is designed for maximum durability with respect to the typical climate of the area. As such, it boasts a wind speed of 115 mph and a high snow load of 60 lbs. In addition to this metal shop building, the customer purchased components for (2) additional 20’x100’ lean-to structures.

Steel Cattle Barn in Thief River Falls, Minnesota

Metal Building Outlet was proud to supply this pre-engineered steel cattle barn in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, in August of 2019.

Currently used to house cattle, the metal farm building features top-of-the-line steel construction, keeping the animals safe and protected from Thief River Falls’ sometimes-extreme temperatures and weather patterns.
