In 2011, this Nucor brand steel building was purchased from Metal Building Outlet to be used for farm equipment storage in Brazil, Indiana.

Located approximately 61 miles away from Indianapolis, the storage unit was 60’x100’x16′ with a roof pitch of 1:12.  The structure had several framed openings including an 18×14 openings, a 14×14 opening, two 3×3 windows and a 3×7 walkdoor.  To combat typical climate conditions in Indiana, R-10 roof insulation and R-19 wall insulation was also installed.

Metal Building in Ramsey, Indiana

Metal Building Outlet sourced this preconstructed steel building in Ramsey, Indiana, in mid-June of 2017.

Crafted from top-of-the-line steel components, the attractive and easy-to-maintain metal structure now serves as a shop. When it fully erect, it offers a finished size of 50’x100’x18’, and overhead, a long-lasting Galvalume roof that resists corrosion and boasts a 4:12 pitch protects the building’s interior and its inhabitants from the elements.

The shop also offers (3) framed openings, among them (1) 3070 opening and (2) 20’x16’ openings, and a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 20-pound snow load serve as additional characteristics added with respect for the variable climate and weather patterns common throughout Ramsey and the surrounding landscape.

Steel Building in St. Joe, Indiana

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated metal building in St. Joe, Indiana, in mid-August of 2016.

Highly energy efficient and low maintenance by design, the building stands 64’x134’x14’ in size and is now used for storage purposes. Crafted from premium-grade steel components, the storage building is covered overhead by a rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch. Inside it are (6) framed openings varying in size, among them (4) 12’x12’ openings, (1) 18’x12’ opening and (1) 8’x8’ opening.

Installed in the walls and roof of the building is high-performance R-19 insulation, an addition that was made to reduce energy bills while also enhancing interior comfort and noise control. A wind speed of 115 mph and a snow load of 20 lbs. serve as additional project features and were included in consideration of the variable climate of the St. Joe area. A small town set within DeKalb County’s Concord Township in Northeastern Indiana, St. Joe sits about 24 miles from Fort Wayne and 14 miles outside Waterloo.

Steel Building in West Terre Haute, Indiana

Metal Building Outlet provided this prefabricated steel building for a customer in West Terre Haute, Indiana, in early April, 2016.

Designed with energy efficiency in mind, the durable, low-maintenance building is crafted from top-of-the-line steel components and now serves as a shop. Its roof is made of long-lasting, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal and has a 1:12 roof pitch. Inside are (4) framed openings, among them (2) 12’x14’ openings and (2) 3070 openings enclosing (2) 20-guage white insulated 3070 walk doors. Installed within the roof of the structure is high R-value, R-30 metal building insulation, while R-19 insulation can be found in the walls. The insulation package reduces the building’s energy bills considerably while helping keep building users comfortable regardless of temperature and seasonal changes. A wind speed of 115 mph and a snow load of 20 lbs. serve as additional shop building features and were included in consideration of West Terre Haute’s variable, wet climate.

A part of Sugar Creek Township in west-central Indiana’s Vigo County, the city of West Terre Haute lies about 40 miles outside Manhattan, Indiana, and six miles from Harrison.

Steel Building in Geneva, Indiana

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Geneva, Indiana in June, 2013.  This agricultural building is in Wabash Township, Adams County (extreme north central Indiana) – about 100 miles from Indianapolis and about 40 miles from Ft. Wayne. The building is used as a hay and straw barn.

After being erected and in use for some time, the building suffered a fire and replacement components were ordered and sent. Both end walls on the barn are open. The side walls are polar white and it has a 1:12 pitched galvalume roof.  All metal components of this building are made by Garco. The finished size of this barn is: 40’x100’x16’. It is rated for wind load of 90 MPH and a snow load of 16.8 PSF.

Metal Building in Ossian, Indiana

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building for a customer in Ossian, Indiana, in late March of 2016.

Now used for storage, the rugged, easy-to-maintain steel building stands 70’x146’19’3” in size and is crafted from hardwearing steel components. Its roof is made of corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal and has a 1:12 roof pitch. Inside the metal storage building are (6) framed openings varying in size and function, among them (1) 12’x14’ opening, (3) 9’x10’ openings and (2) additional door framed housing (2) 3070 commercial walk doors.

Additionally, a wind speed of 115 mph and a snow load of 20 lbs. were included during construction. These enhancements were made in consideration of the typical climate of the Ossian area.

A part of Jefferson Township in Indiana’s Wells County, the town of Ossian is located about 41 miles from Wabash and about 15 miles from Fort Wayne.

Steel Building in Portage, Indiana

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Portage, Indiana in January, 2014.  Located in Portage Township, Porter County. Which is about 10 miles from Gary and about 60 miles from South Bend.

This building is designed to attach to an existing metal building. The building is in extreme northwestern Indiana and due to building codes based on climate an unusually high snow load was required.  Our professional service team was able to assist the owner by working with the local building office to make sure that the specs for this building are up to code and can handle up to 2’ snow drifts.  This was accomplished by upgrading the purlin gauge flange bracing.

The completed size of the building is 25’x50’x18’ and the exterior walls are brick read.  The galvalume roof has a 1:12 pitch and all components are Garco. The building also has a wind speed rating of 90 MPH.

The striking, saddle tan structure is comprised of premium-quality steel components, and it boasts a burnished slate-colored, corrosion-resistant metal roof with a 4:12 pitch overhead. Now functioning as a shop, the durable, low-maintenance building stands 40’x60’x14’ in size once fully erect.

Additional accommodations include a 35-pound snow load and a 90-mph wind speed rating, inclusions made with the variable climate and seasonal snowfall common throughout the Hanna area in mind. An unincorporated community in northern Indiana, Hanna is a sparsely populated community that falls within LaPorte County’s Hanna Township. It lies about 17 miles from LaPorte and about 25 miles outside Michigan City.
