Multipurpose Metal Building in Naples, Florida

Serving a number of different purposes, the versatile, multifunctional metal building is 70’x90’x16’ in size and has a wide clear span that provides unobstructed space for equipment, storage, manufacturing or any number of other uses. Ash Gray in color, the steel building stands tall when faced with heavy rain, salt, strong winds and other Florida construction hazards, while a heavy-duty Galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch offers protection from above.

The metal multi-use building has (6) framed openings throughout, and these include (4) 12’x12’ openings and (2) 3070 openings. It also has (4) 12’x10’ ridge vents, which help release heat and humidity, making for a more comfortable interior environment. Metal Shop Building in North Port, Florida

Metal Building Outlet was pleased to supply this pre-engineered metal shop building in North Port, Florida, in September of 2019.

Offering uncompromised durability in the face of salty air, strong winds and other construction hazards common across coastal Florida, the insulated steel building stands 50’x80’x16’ in size and is currently in use as a shop. It features an unobstructed clear span, meaning it has no interior columns or trusses taking up unnecessary space, and it also features high ceilings, allowing for any number of different uses.

The roof of the metal shop has a 2:12 pitch and is comprised of rugged Galvalume steel panels, and installed within it is a layer of R-10 fiberglass insulation, which improves energy efficiency and interior comfort. The exterior of the shop, meanwhile, is an attractive Saddle Tan color, and (5) framed openings serve as additional project features. Included are (2) 12’x14’ openings, (1) 10’x10’ opening and (2) 3’4”x7’2” door openings.

A high, 150-mph wind load is another customization made in consideration of the strong wind and hurricane activity known to pass through the region, and it also keeps the steel shop in compliance with local building codes. Expansive, versatile and exceedingly durable, the building now functions as a workshop, and it stands 100’x100’x18’ in size. Its wide clear-span and high clearance make it an ideal environment for working or storing goods or inventory, while a Galvalume roof with a 3:12 pitch provides ample protection from the Florida elements from above.

The shop itself is comprised of rugged, premium-quality steel components, and distributed throughout it are (10) framed openings. Included are (5) 3070 walk door openings enclosing (5 3070 walk doors and (5) 14’x14’ overhead openings, each housing one of (5) 14’x14’ overhead doors. A high, 140-mph wind speed rating serves as an additional feature added in consideration of the tropical storm activity common throughout the region as well as the building code requirements in place at the address.

Energy-Efficient Metal Building in Fort McCoy, Florida

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building for a buyer in Fort McCoy, Florida in late November of 2014.

Light stone in color and crafted exclusively from Nucor Building Systems components, the building now operates as a warehouse. Boasting a finished size of 40’x60’x16’ and topped with a Galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch, the Florida steel building features a total of (3) framed openings. These include (2) 14’14’ doors and an additional 3070 walk door for easy entry and access.

Fort McCoy experiences long, hot and humid summers, with this in mind, energy efficient insulation was included in both the roof and walls at the time of construction. The building’s roof features R-19 insulation panels, while the walls contain R-13 insulation. In consideration of northern Florida’s propensity for strong storm activity and occasional hurricanes, the building was designed with a high wind speed of 130 mph.

Fort McCoy is an unincorporated community located within Marion County in north-central Florida. It lies about 98 miles from Kissimmee and 48.5 miles outside the City of Gainesville.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Christmas, Florida in February, 2014.  The building is used as a multi-purpose building by the owner in Central Florida Orange County.  He uses the building as a personal shop and garage on his property, about half an hour from Orlando and Deltona.

Comprised entirely of SteelMax parts, this building is engineered to the climate and has a wind speed rating of 134 MPH. The exterior walls are burnished slate and the roof with a 3:12 pitch is galvalume.  There are three doors on the building (1) 12’x12’ overhead door , (1) 3’x7’ and (1) 6’x7’ walk doors.
