Crafted from top-quality steel components, the energy-efficient building is ash gray in color and stands 40’x40’x16’ in size. Now used as a shop, it is covered and protected from the elements by an exceedingly durable, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 3:12 pitch. Inside the building are (8) framed openings varying in size and function. Included are (2) 12’x12’ openings equipped with (2) 12’x12’ wind-rated rollup doors, (1) 8’x8’ opening enclosing (1) 8’x8’ wind-rated rollup door, (1) 3070 opening harboring (1)3070 walk door and (4) 3’x10’ translucent skylight panels.

To enhance energy efficiency as well as interior comfort and noise control for building users, the structure features R-10 metal building insulation within the roof and walls. In consideration of the tropical climate of Loxahatchee and the considerable precipitation and frequent storm activity common throughout the area, the building also boasts a very high wind speed of 170 mph. Metal Building Outlet was pleased to supply this pre-engineered metal shop building in North Port, Florida, in September of 2019.

Offering uncompromised durability in the face of salty air, strong winds and other construction hazards common across coastal Florida, the insulated steel building stands 50’x80’x16’ in size and is currently in use as a shop. It features an unobstructed clear span, meaning it has no interior columns or trusses taking up unnecessary space, and it also features high ceilings, allowing for any number of different uses.

The roof of the metal shop has a 2:12 pitch and is comprised of rugged Galvalume steel panels, and installed within it is a layer of R-10 fiberglass insulation, which improves energy efficiency and interior comfort. The exterior of the shop, meanwhile, is an attractive Saddle Tan color, and (5) framed openings serve as additional project features. Its wide clear-span and high clearance make it an ideal environment for working or storing goods or inventory, while a Galvalume roof with a 3:12 pitch provides ample protection from the Florida elements from above.

The shop itself is comprised of rugged, premium-quality steel components, and distributed throughout it are (10) framed openings. Included are (5) 3070 walk door openings enclosing (5 3070 walk doors and (5) 14’x14’ overhead openings, each housing one of (5) 14’x14’ overhead doors.
