Metal Building in Evergreen, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet was the proud provider of this pre-engineered metal building in Evergreen, Colorado, in early January, 2020.

Designed and engineered for use as a gymnasium, the insulated, energy-efficient metal building offers the strength and durability life in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains demands. Constructed from rugged, reliable steel components, the metal gymnasium is 98’x96’x25.5’ in size, offering high overhead clearance that allows for basketball hoops, rope climbing or any number of other athletic efforts.

Protecting the building from the elements and Evergreen’s often considerable wintertime snowfall is a durable, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a slight 2:12 pitch, and a layer of high R-value, R-38 fiberglass insulation sits within the roof. The insulation helps the steel gym maintain comfortable temperatures, regardless of season, and it also helps reduce the presence of outside noise.

Other noteworthy customizations made with regard for the climate of Evergreen and the building codes in place in the area include a 130-mph wind speed rating and a high, 74-pound snow load. Part of central Colorado’s Jefferson County, Evergreen sits about 10 miles north of Conifer and about 19 miles west of Denver.
