Steel Shop Building Kit in Cheyenne, Wyoming

Metal Building Outlet provided this pre-engineered steel building in Cheyenne, Wyoming, in January of 2020.

Engineered for use as a shop, the building offers optimal strength, durability and energy efficiency, making it well-suited for Wyoming’s sometimes-harsh climate. Constructed from rugged, high-end steel components, the shop stands 48’x60’x16’ when raised, offering high overhead clearance and a space-maximizing clear span that make it suitable for a wide range of uses.

In the roof and walls of the metal workshop are layers of R-19 fiberglass insulation, which help lower energy bills and, as a result, lifetime costs of ownership. The insulation also helps the building maintain comfortable interior temperatures year-round, making for a more comfortable work environment.

Other notable shop features include (1) 3’4”x7’2” walk door and several climate-related customizations, among them a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 30-pound snow load. Two Metal Shop Buildings in Greenville, Illinois

Metal Building Outlet supplied these (2) steel buildings to a customer in Greenville, Illinois, in late July, 2014. They now serve as a shop.

Constructed from Nucor Building Systems components, the first of the two pre-engineered buildings stands 12’x18’12’ and has a 2:12 roof pitch, while the second of the two stands 10’x40’x10’ with a 2:12 roof pitch. The City of Greenville experiences inconsistent weather patterns and typically sees an average of 16 lbs. of snowfall per year, and as such, these steel buildings both have a ground snow load of 20 lbs. They were also both constructed with wind speeds of 90 mph.

Greenville lies within Bond County, Illinois, and is considered a part of both the St. Louis Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Metro East region of Illinois. It lies about 69 miles outside the City of Springfield, Illinois, and about 884 miles from Decatur, Illinois.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel building in Herrick, Illinois in early December of 2014.

Constructed using components from Nucor Building Systems, the large Illinois metal building boasts a finished size of 80’x100’x16’, and is covered by a durable Galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch. Now used as a combination shop and garage by the owner, the building contains a total of (5) framed openings. These include (3) 20’x14’ openings and (2) 3070 20-gauge walk doors.

Herrick experiences a variable climate with frequent precipitation throughout the year, and with this in mind, the steel building was designed with a wind speed of 90 mph and a snow load of 20 lbs. to ensure maximum durability regardless of weather patterns.

Standing 60’x124’x17’, this massive steel structure is made entirely of Nucor Building Systems components, and has a 3:12 roof pitch.

Metal Shop Building in Merlin, Oregon

Metal Building Outlet was the supplier of this prefabricated metal building in Merlin, Oregon, in September of 2019.

Ultra-rugged and easy to maintain, the building stands 50’x80’x16’ in size and is comprised of heavy-duty steel components. It has a broad clear span that maximizes floor space, and its roof is comprised of corrosion-resistant Galvalume Plus metal sheeting and has a 2:12 pitch.

The steel shop has an attractive, Light Stone-colored exterior, and it also features (3) framed openings, among them (2) 12’x14’ overhead openings and (1) 3’4”x7’2” opening. A 45-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating are additional customizations that comply with local building code requirements while enhancing the shop’s durability with respect for its environment.

The highly durable, energy efficient metal building stands 45’x35’x12’ in size and is crafted from top-of-the-line steel components. A wind speed of 115 mph and a high snow load of 60 lbs. serve as additional building features and were included in consideration of the climate and weather patterns of the Soda Springs area, which sees ample seasonal snowfall.
