Workshop Building in Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel workshop building for a customer in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, in April of 2019.

Rugged, durable and exceedingly energy efficient, the building now serves as a workshop and stands an expansive 60’x120’x19’ in size. Comprised of premium-quality steel components, it offers the structural integrity life in the Colorado mountains requires, and a hardwearing, heavy-duty Galvalume roof with a 4:12 pitch sits overhead, protecting the interior of the shop from the elements.

The metal shop boasts an attractive, Light Stone-colored exterior that blends well with the surrounding mountain landscape, and distributed throughout it are (8) framed openings. These include (3) 16’x16’ openings enclosing (3) 16’x16’ doors, (4) 3070 walk door openings enclosing (4) 3070 walk doors, and (1) 12’xq10’ opening containing (1) 12’x10’ overhead door.

A high-performance insulation package further equips the building for the sometimes-extreme temperatures and variable climate patterns that come with life in a mountain town, and it includes R-38 insulation in the roof and R-30 insulation in the walls. In addition to keeping energy bills manageable and building users comfortable, regardless of outside temperatures, the insulation helps muffle outside noise, creating a more favorable work environment inside.

Additional features added with regard for the variable climate characteristics of the region and the strict building codes in place in the area include a high, 60-pound snow and a 115-mph wind speed rating. A popular resort community set within western Colorado’s Garfield County, Glenwood Springs sit about 40 miles outside Aspen and about 13 miles northwest of Carbondale.

Metal Building Outlet sourced this premanufactured steel workshop building on behalf of a customer in Templeton, Massachusetts, in March of 2019.

Economical, low-maintenance and multifunctional, the building is currently in use as a shop. Once raised, it stands 24’x30’x10’ in size, and it features an obstruction-free clear-span that maximizes usable space. Comprised of top-of-the-line steel components, the building stands strong in the face of pests, strong winds and the heavy snow that often comes with a New England winter, and a rugged Galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch sits overhead, providing reliable protection from the elements.

The steel workshop features (1) 3’4”x7’2” framed door opening, and it also features several customizations made in compliance with local building codes and in consideration of regional climate characteristics. Such accommodations include a high, 65-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating.

Comprised of four smaller villages, the town of Templeton is a part of Worcester County. The community lies just west of Gardner and just east of Phillipston.

Metal Workshop Buildings in Denton, Maryland

Metal Building Outlet supplied these (4) preconstructed steel buildings for a buyer in Denton, Maryland, in late April of 2019.

Delivering unrivaled strength and durability, the (4) buildings together serve as a shop, providing ample room for building users to work, store goods or otherwise utilize the covered, all-season space. All (4) structures have attractive, Ash Grey exteriors and rugged Galvalume roofs with 0.5:12 pitches overhead, but they all differ in size.

The first building, once raised, boasts a finished size of 20’x220’x8.5’, while the second structure stands 30’x170’x8.5’. The third steel workshop stands 30’x110’x8.5’ in size once erect, while the fourth and final building stands 10’x170’x8.5’. Distributed among the (4) metal shops are (106) framed openings, which include (84) 9’x7’ openings enclosing (84) 9’x7’ doors and (22) 4’x7’ openings, each enclosing one of (22) 4’x7’ doors.

Additional features added with regard for the variable climate characteristics of the region and the building codes dictating construction at the build site include a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 25-pound snow load. Part of eastern Maryland’s Caroline County, Denton sits roughly 15 miles north of Preston and about 72 miles outside Baltimore.

Offering the rugged durability life in Hawaii demands, the building stands 34’x30’x12.5’ in size once erect, and it now serves as a shop. Its roof is comprised of heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal and has a 1:12 pitch, and (6) framed openings enhance accessibility for building users. Included are (1) 3070+ walk door opening, (1) 18’x10’ overhead opening, (2) 10’x10’ openings and (2) 3040 windows.

The building’s premium-quality steel construction helps it maintain its structural integrity in the face of salt, sand, moisture and other Hawaii construction hazards, while a 130-mph wind speed rating further equips it for life in the islands while meeting local building code requirements. Also known as Waimea, Kamuela is a part of Hawaii County, on the Big Island of Hawaii. The community sits about 56 miles northwest of Hilo and about 43 miles outside Kailua-Kona.

Steel Workshop in Hohenwald, Tennessee

Metal Building Outlet secured this pre-engineered steel building on behalf of a customer in Hohenwald, Tennessee, in May of 2019.

Durable, multifunctional and designed to last for generations, the metal building features strong, sturdy steel construction and stands 32’x100’x15.5’ in size. Desert Sand in color, the building is currently in use as a shop, and a complementing, Medium Bronze-colored metal roof sits overhead, providing protection from above while boasting a 0.5:12 roof pitch.

Throughout the steel workshop are (8) framed openings ranging in size, among them (5) 16’x12’ overhead openings, (1) 15’x10’6” opening and (2) 3070 walk door openings. Supplemental features added out of respect for regional climate patterns and building codes include a 10-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating. Part of Tennessee’s Lewis County, the city of Hohenwald sits roughly 33 miles west of Columbia, Tennessee, and about 25 miles west of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee.
