Prefabricated Metal Building in Cheyenne, Wyoming

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated metal building in Cheyenne, Wyoming, in May of 2015.

The sturdy, low-maintenance building is now used as an airplane hangar, and is 55’x40’x18’ in size. It is covered overhead by a durable, corrosion-resistant galvalume steel roof with a 1:12 roof pitch. In consideration of the cold, semi-arid climate of the Cheyenne area, which is characterized by long, cold winters, seasonal snowfall, and rare, but occasional tornado activity, the metal hangar is engineered with a high wind speed of 125 mph and a snow load of 30 lbs.

Cheyenne is the most populous city in Wyoming, and is a part of Laramie County, in the southeastern corner of the state. Energy Efficient Metal Warehouse Building in Douglas, Wyoming

Metal Building Outlet supplied this metal building for a customer in Douglas, Wyoming in late August of 2014.

Built from Garco Building Systems components, the 15’x20’x12’ metal structure is now used as a warehouse by Superior Energy Services, a provider of oilfield services and equipment. Covered by a Galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch, the prefabricated building boasts a total of (4) framed openings, which include (2) 3070 walk doors, (1) 6070 walk door and (1) 3030 window.

Douglas, Wyoming sees considerable snowfall and experiences long, cold winters. With this in mind, the steel building was constructed with energy efficient R-19 value insulation in the roof and walls to help maintain comfortable interior temperatures, as well as help keep heating and cooling costs low. The building also boasts a wind speed of 90 mph and a ground snow load of 30 lbs.

Douglas, Wyoming is located within Converse County, in east-central Wyoming. The home of the Wyoming State Fair, Douglas lies about 60 miles from Wheatland and about 50 miles outside Casper.
