Metal Building Outlet was proud to supply this pre-engineered steel cattle barn in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, in August of 2019.

Currently used to house cattle, the metal farm building features top-of-the-line steel construction, keeping the animals safe and protected from Thief River Falls’ sometimes-extreme temperatures and weather patterns. The farm building boasts a finished, fully raised size of 60’x60’x12’, and it features a wide clear span, maximizing usable square footage.

A rugged Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch provides protection from above, while several additional configurations help the building comply with local building codes and make it particularly suited for Minnesota’s climate. These customizations include a wind speed rating of 115 mph and a snow load of 60 pounds.

Located in northwestern Minnesota, Thief River Falls is part of Pennington County. It sits about 50 miles outside Grand Forks, North Dakota, and about 70 miles south of the U.S./Canada border.
