Metal Building in Mills, Wyoming

Metal Building Outlet was proud to supply this pre-engineered metal building in Mills, Wyoming, in early December of 2019.

Energy-efficient and impressively rugged, the building is 40’x80’x16’ once raised and currently functions as a storage building. It has an open, clear-span design that maximizes usable floor space and high overhead clearance, opening up even more room for storage.

Offering protection from above is a rugged, hardwearing Galvalume metal roof with a mild 2:12 pitch, and (8) framed openings enhance accessibility while allowing natural sunlight to enter the space. Found throughout the property are (2) 3070 walk door openings, (3) 10’x12’ overhead openings and (3) 3’x3’ window openings.

Keeping energy bills low and the storage building comfortable and appropriate for year-round use is an insulation package. In its roof and walls, the metal storage building has layers of R-19 insulation, which also helps reduce the presence of outside noise. Other geography and climate-related customizations include a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 30-pound snow load.

Part of the Casper, Wyoming, metropolitan area, the town of Mills is part of Natrona County. The community sits about 150 miles outside Lander, Wyoming, and about 118 miles from Riverton.

Pre-Engineered Steel Storage Building in Chicago, Illinois

Metal Building Outlet was pleased to supply this prefabricated steel storage building for a customer in September of 2019.

Intended for use as a storage shed, the building features rugged, long-lasting steel construction, and once erect, it stands 32’x20’x20’ in size. High overhead clearance makes the metal shed suitable for storing goods in an array of different sizes, while its clear-span design eliminates interior obstructions and maximizes usable storage space inside.

The pre-engineered steel shed features a Burnished Slate-colored exterior, while a robust, corrosion-resistant Galvalume steel roof with a 1:12 pitch sits overhead. The metal shed also boasts several customizations that better equip it for the Illinois elements, including a wind load of 115 mph and a snow load of 43 pounds.

Illinois’ most-populated city, Chicago is a part of northeastern Illinois’ Cook County. The city sits about 35 miles outside Naperville and about 22 miles outside Downers Grove.
