Industrial Metal Building in Colorado

Metal Building Outlet sourced this pre-engineered metal building for a customer in Colorado in early November of 2019.

Currently in use as a fabrication shop, the building delivers unmatched strength and durability, resulting in reliable protection for both the people who use it and the goods stored inside. Once erect, the building stands an expansive 60’x100’x24’ in size, and it features a broad clear span that eliminates interior columns or supports.

The shop’s high overhead clearance makes it well-suited for storage and manufacturing, and a robust, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a subtle 1:12 pitch protects the interior of the workshop from above. Noteworthy features include (6) framed openings, among them (5) 12’x14’ overhead door openings and (1) 3’x7’ walk door opening, and several other enhancements that better-prepare the shop for life in Colorado while keeping it compliant with applicable building codes and regulations.

A high, 43-pound snow load serves as one such feature, while a 130-mph wind speed rating is another. Located in the western United States, Colorado is prone to variable temperatures and weather patterns, making metal construction particularly ideal for this environment. Neighboring states include Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Nebraska, Kansas and Oklahoma.

Once raised, the steel office and warehouse stands 60’x200’x25’ in size, and it features the high overhead clearance most warehouse operations demand.

A rugged, corrosion- and damage-resistant Galvalume steel with a 4:12 pitch offers protection from above, and (7) framed openings ranging in size serve as additional project customizations. Included are (1) 9’x7’ opening, (5) 3’x7’ door openings and (1) 4’x4’ window opening that allows natural light to stream inside.
