Combining supreme versatility with rugged durability, the building boasts top-of-the-line steel construction and stands an expansive 60’x125’x13’ once erect. In use as a shop, the building has a broad clear span that eliminates interior columns or supports.
Metal Building Outlet provided this pre-engineered metal building for a customer in Lake Placid, Florida, in October of 2019.
Rugged, long-lasting and energy efficient, the building has an attractive, Light Stone exterior, and its owner uses it as a shop. Comprised of rugged, hardwearing steel sheeting, the building stands 40’x50’x18’ in size, offering a wide clear span that maximizes interior floor space and high overhead clearance that makes it appropriate for any number of different uses.
The roof of the metal shop has a 2:12 roof pitch and is comprised of rugged Galvalume panels, and (5) framed openings serve as additional notable features. Distributed throughout the metal workshop are (2) 12’x14’ overhead openings, (2) 3070 walk door openings and (1) 3’x10’ opening. Within its roof and walls, the shop has layers of R-10 fiberglass insulation, which create a more comfortable, all-season environment while keeping building users out of Florida’s heat and humidity. Because the Lake Placid area sometimes sees strong storm activity, a high, 140-mph wind speed rating is an additional project attribute.
Part of the Sebring metropolitan statistical area, the town of Lake Placid is part of Florida’s Highlands County. It lies about 16 miles south of Sebring and about 58 miles outside Clewiston.

Designed to last the long haul, this insulated, fern green-colored building is comprised of premium-quality steel materials, and it boasts a finished size of 40’x60’x16’. Overhead, a hardwearing Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch protects the interior, while R-10 insulation in the building’s roof enhances energy efficiency while ensuring building users stay comfortable in the often hot, humid Florida climate. A high, 150-mph wind speed rating serves as an additional feature; a decision made in consideration of the strong wind and hurricane activity that sometimes comes through Myakka City and the surrounding region.
The metal structure also offers (4) framed openings, which include (2) 8’x10’ openings enclosing (2) 8’x10’ roll-up doors and (2) 3070 openings, each enclosing one of (2) 3070 walk doors. An unincorporated community set within Florida’s Manatee County, Myakka City sits about 30 miles from Bradenton and roughly 31 miles outside Palmetto.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Christmas, Florida in February, 2014. The building is used as a multi-purpose building by the owner in Central Florida Orange County. He uses the building as a personal shop and garage on his property, about half an hour from Orlando and Deltona.
Comprised entirely of SteelMax parts, this building is engineered to the climate and has a wind speed rating of 134 MPH. The exterior walls are burnished slate and the roof with a 3:12 pitch is galvalume. There are three doors on the building (1) 12’x12’ overhead door , (1) 3’x7’ and (1) 6’x7’ walk doors.
