Auto Shop in White Plains, New York

Metal Building Outlet sourced this prefabricated metal building in White Plains, New York, in January of 2020.

Undergoing automotive use, the building combines supreme functionality with rugged durability, resulting in a comfortable, accommodating place to work or service or store vehicles. The auto shop stands 40’x60’x30’ when raised, offering plenty of space overhead for automotive lifts, and it boasts a striking, Charcoal-colored exterior that blends seamlessly with its surroundings.

The roof of the steel automotive building has a relatively steep 15:12 roof pitch that helps prevent rain or snow from piling atop it, and (10) framed door and window openings serve as additional customizations. Found throughout the metal body shop are (2) 10’x15’ overhead door openings, (3) 3’4”x7’2” walk door openings, (3) 2’x3’ windows and (2) 3’x4’ windows.

In order to comply with building code requirements in place across White Plains, the metal auto shop also has a 45-pound snow load and a 120-mph wind speed rating. An inner suburb of New York City, White Plains is a part of Westchester County. It sits about 25 miles north of Midtown Manhattan, just south of North Castle.

Now undergoing use as a sheet metal fabrication shop, the building offers the uncompromised structural integrity a manufacturing operation requires. Tan in color, it stands 80’x150’x25’ in size, featuring high overhead clearance that enhances the business’s production capabilities. Its roof is comprised of rugged Galvalume metal and has a 3:12 pitch, while (12) framed openings make the shop easily accessible for staff members.

Found throughout the metal manufacturing space are (6) 3070 walk doors, (3) 18’x16’ overhead doors and (3) 6040 walk doors. Other building characteristics include a 35-pound snow load and a 110-mph wind speed rating, which comply with applicable building code requirements while making the building well-suited for Northern Colorado’s sometimes-unpredictable climate.

Home to Colorado State University, the city of Fort Collins is part of Larimer County. The community sits about 60 miles north of Denver and roughly 45 miles south of Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Automotive Shop Building in Blackburn, Missouri

Now used for automotive purposes, the building stands 50’x63’x18’ in size and features an open, clear-span design that provides plenty of obstruction-free room for storing or servicing vehicles. The metal automotive building’s high ceilings can easily accommodate lifts, while its rugged steel construction protects cars and trucks from harsh weather, strong winds, intense sunshine and other potential automotive hazards.

Polar White in color, the building requires very little in terms of lifetime maintenance, and a corrosion- and damage-resistant Galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch sits overhead, creating a reliable layer of protection from the elements. Additional automotive building features include R-10 insulation within the walls and (3) framed openings, among them (2) 18’x6’ openings and (1) 3’4”x7’2” opening.

Additional features added in adherence to local building code requirements include a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 20-pound snow load. Located in north-central Missouri, the city of Blackburn has land in Lafayette and Saline counties. The community lies roughly 200 miles west of St. Louis and about 105 miles northwest of Jefferson City.
