Now an operational shop, the metal building stands 50’x75’x20’, and is crafted from Nucor Building Systems components and topped by a Galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch. It features (4) framed openings, which include (3) that are 14’x16’ in size and (1) walk door for easy user access.

Waverly experiences considerable rainfall throughout the year, with an average of 55 inches falling annually. With this and the typical climate patterns of the region in consideration, the steel building was constructed with a wind speed of 100 mph and a snow load of 3.5 lbs.

Together, the structures function as a shop, and they both boast hardwearing Galvalume metal roofs overhead, though the first building’s roof offers a 3:12 pitch, and the second, a 1.5:12 roof pitch.

To keep energy costs down and building users comfortable throughout the year, the buildings also feature an insulation package. Installed within the buildings’ roofs is high-performance, R-30 insulation, while both structure contain R-13 insulation within their walls.
